Our wedding coordinator at our venue (Mavericks House) actually had Mark as her wedding DJ, so he came highly recommended and he absolutely lived up to it. One of the most special things Mark did was help me pull off a surprise for my husband on our wedding day. I decided to sing him a song during dinner, and Mark helped coordinate the whole thing and made me feel so supported during my musical debut as a wife. It ended up being one of our favorite and most memorable moments of the day. Mark also absolutely crushed it on the dance floor. He did an amazing job mixing our songs, reading the room, and keeping the energy high all night. The dance floor was packed, and our guests had an incredible time. Mark was not only an amazing DJ but someone we genuinely loved having as part of our wedding day. He made everything feel easy, fun, and special. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

stayed busy all night, and he did a great job reading the crowd and keeping the energy going. He also handled so much more than just the dancing. Mark took care of the ceremony music and microphones for me and our officiant, cocktail hour music, and all of the announcements throughout the day and reception. He had everything set up and ready to go, and we never had to think or worry about any of it. One of the things we appreciated most was that he listened to what we wanted while still using his experience to fill in the gaps and keep everything moving. The music was a huge part of the night for us, and Mark knocked it out of the park. We had an incredible wedding, and Mark was a big part of making it such a great night. We couldn’t recommend him enough!

He put together an amazing mix for our somewhat different father-daughter dance and gave us many suggestions and advice throughout planning. We always knew Mark had things handled so didn’t ever have to spend time stressing before or on our wedding day. He kept our dance floor packed throughout the entire evening. To quote one of our guests, “it was banger after banger.” We truly could not have asked for a better DJ!

y sold for a few reasons. First, Mark is so personable and easy to talk to! He really makes you feel at ease and that he truly cares about your wedding experience and vision. Second, he is incredibly organized. We again felt like we were in the safest hands because we could really trust that he was going to be on top of it all leading up to the day and the day of. Third, the breadth of experience he has had doing this was so apparent. We honestly were so unsure of how this sort of thing should go and the countless details that might be small but really matter. He held our hands through all of the organization and made sure we were aware of all the decisions that we’d need to make in order to ensure the day went as smooth as possible!  I would strongly recommend considering Mark for any of my friends/family that are planning a wedding. I think after meeting and talking with Mark the first time, anyone would agree that he is the guy you’d want to DJ/MC your wedding! Our wedding day was unforgettable thanks to Mark!

So many different people came up to us saying it was the best wedding playlist they ever heard, I’m not making that up.  He used a lot of our chosen favorites but wasn't afraid to use  his own choices based on the music and party vibes to fill in the gaps. If i had any critique it was simply that there were no songs i could tear myself away from to dash to the bathroom. Lastly, Mark did a great job tying together the multigenerational guests at our party. Everybody from our grand parents down to our friends were having a great time.

He showed up early and prepared, ran an efficient soundcheck, and quickly adapted to issues with the venue's microphones, ensuring the ceremony went off without a hitch. Then, the dance floor playlist was incredible. He played all of our "must plays" in such a great compilation, and mixed in lots of other great songs. People were on the dance floor all night, just like we wanted. Thank you Mark!

n changed/added songs to the ceremony all the way up until the day before. We had a windy ceremony, but his sound system was clear and everyone was able to hear perfectly. Mark’s a classy MC and a killer DJ. He knows how to read the crowd, what songs to play to get everyone out on the dance floor and keep them there. He played such a vital role in the best night if our lives. His price is extremely reasonable, especially for the quality of work. If you want your wedding to be perfect, you better hire Mark!

I did some live music during our reception our and Mark was so gracious enough to let me use some of his equipment and helped me making it all come together for a rocking, good time. Mark goes above and beyond his expected duties as a DJ. He pays attention to the crowd's energy, he is attentive throughout, he has intentionality that is felt in each interaction. His energy and excitement for his work is infectious - talking with him and walking through the emotions we wanted to elicit throughout the day was actually what pulled us out of the grind of planning the wedding and made us start feeling excited for the day to arrive. Even as early as our first meeting, we could tell that Mark had a good feel for the energy and vibe we were aiming for, and we knew we were in good hands, with Mark even having (solicited!) input on how to use each of the genres of music we liked at different points during the event to manage energy levels, a credit to his experience and care for what he does. As the day approached, Mark remained easy and flexible to work with, allowing us to make numerous changes to various song choices and lengths for our dances even just days before the event. After providing a few songs to serve as the guidelines for what we wanted to have played for open dancing, Mark had our full trust to flesh out the rest of the night, and when we requested to play a song that my husband had recorded, Mark went as far as to pay him for the song, out of respect for the art. That's like the equivalent of over 1000 streams on Spotify, just saying, and made our day! On the wedding day, meeting Mark at the venue was like meeting an old friend - he was just as excited for us as any of our guests were. Due to Mark's level of preparation and communication ahead of time, we didn't need to discuss any further details or set up with him, and he completely nailed the brief. From the various songs played during the ceremony, to microphones, to emceeing the dinner and speeches, to the first and parental dances, to bringing the house down at the end of the night, everything went off without a hitch, and he also brought us cookies from his wife (incredible!!)?? The flow of the day was perfect, and the music created a new atmosphere for each segment of the day that matched the vibe perfectly. We will be recommending Mark to any future wedding couples in our lives for hopes of getting to see him work his magic again, and if you're looking for someone to bring excitement and care to your event along with the foresight that comes with experience in the business, Mark is your guy. In addition to providing musical entertainment for the evening, Mark acted as a planner for the reception, making sure we didn't miss any components and allotted ample time to all our key moments. Mark truly went above and beyond when 2 weeks before the wedding we asked if he could provide us with a speaker and microphone for our Welcome Dinner without any issues. I would STRONGLY recommend Mark for any event and hope I get to attend a wedding he djs in the future!

He was very professional and super fun and understood exactly what we were looking for in all of our "magic moments" as well as the open dancing. Along with using our special ceremony songs exactly how we wanted, we gave him some playlist ideas for the pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing times but he knew exactly how to curate the rest of the songs to fit our crowd perfectly (all ages were dancing and enjoying the night). We would recommend Mark to anyone and we're looking forward to having a future event when we can book him again!
